    Serious, confused for some of the book, popular at school
    Hasn't found out why he's doing what he is, was just kind of told he has to.
    He always helps out the characters he's close to. In some events he kind of saves the day.
    "There is considerable power in you, too, Jack, despite your unusual history."

  2. John smith. He's very brave and caring. John is also curious. He keeps a low profile and tries to go unnoticed.
    He's motivated by the future of his planet, lorien, and keeping his race alive.
    He affects the events by fighting and hiding from the mogadorians and staying alive.
    In the beginning we were a group of nine. Three are gone, dead. There are six of us left. They are hunting us, and they won't stop until they've killed us all. I am Number Four. I know that I am next.

  3. Louie Banks
    He's a good guy,he's good at football,Louie gets picked on
    His friends motivate him to get better at football, his friend helps him practice.
    He creates some drama in the book by quitting the football team.
    Revealing qoute: "Are you kidding me I wouldn't play another game of trout football if u were holding my mother hostage!"

  4. Chick benetto.
    Chick is really nice. He has many friends. He is well loved.
    He goes down the wrong path and attempts suicide but he fails, this is caused by getting divorced and not getting invited to his daughters wedding.
    He is the main character and he affects the book by learning all of the crappy times that his mother went through to keep him fed and dressed.
    "when someone walks into your heart, they're never truly gone they can come back to you even at unlikely times"

  5. Artemis Fowl:
    Artemis is a master mind genius and he is only 14 years old. His motivations to being a genius is he has tons of money and his own bodyguard to protect him so he is able to do anything he wants. He has broken into a bank and got away with it. He affects the story line by you don't know what is going to happen next because he can do anything he wants. Quotation "Some things never change."

  6. Will is the primary character I am doing. He is brave, courageous, and smart. One thing that motivates Will is he wants to be a better ranger than his master Halt. Will has helped save castle Redmont multiple times and somehow always shows the best in people.

    " I'll admit it doesn't look too promising, but you never know what tomorrow might bring. The important thing is to stay positive. We mustn't give up. Halt taught me that. Never give up because if an opportunity arises, you must be ready to take it."

    Motivations: dad was in war so he went to war
    Character traits: sensitive, caring, easygoing
    How effect story's event and characters: everyone opens up to him be
    Cause he is so nice and the Iraqi civilians want to talk to him because doesn't yell at him
    Revealing quatation: in the unlikely event that mr. Hussein doesn't step down and there actually is a shooting war, we will not be first line troops

  8. Bluejay/Mo
    Dark hair, tall, bookbinder, good guy, becomes a hero called the bluejay, friendly
    The Adderhead wants the Bluejay dead because the Bluejay is helping the poor and he had once tricked the Adderhead and escaped.
    He affects the stories events by meeting the White Women and bring the Firebreather, Dustfinger, back to life. When the Piper takes all the children for the mines, the Bluejay turns himself in to save the children.

    Massie Block
    Mean, spoiled, bossy, has to be the best.
    She wants to be the best alpha ever, so she only has the best people as her friends so she can come out on top.
    She is very controlling of her friends-she makes sure that they wear what she approves of, and makes sure that they don't do anything stupid, because otherwise they will make her look stupid.
    Example- "______, am I a garbage can? ... Then why are you talking trash about me?"

  10. Primary character: Gene Simmons
    Motivations: Rock n' Roll, Money, Girls
    How they affect the story: Gene doesn't get along with Ace and Peter because of the poor choices they make and their attitudes and behavior
    Revealing Quotation: "Someday soon, just after the final chords of "Rock N' Roll All Nite" ring out on the Shea Stadium stage, I will pick up my bass and exit stage right."

  11. He is strong and powerful. He wants to be a vampire.he killed a man.he is fighting his way throgh life and wants to live.

    If he had second chance he would never kill. But he made a mistake and must live with it.

    Alex.
    Hates himself, almost going insane, cares about his friends.
    He wants to get out of lockdown and to keep his friends safe.
    He affects the story because he is creating problems in lockdown and he tries to save his friends.

  13. Liz is just like any other teenage girl. She is riding to the mall to pick out a prom dress when she is hit by a taxi. She is very emotional about her death. She is motivated by her depression to talk to her family. She effects the story by trying to contact the living. "it might have made things a little easier for parents who had outlived their child and a lovely girl who had died too young."

  14. The giver is an interesting story. It is a little difficult to understand until you get further into the story. The main character is Jonas. He is a twelve year old boy who is chosen to be the receiver. Jonas lives a life where he has no freedom. Being the receiver is a really important job in Jonas' community. Jonas finds out what the real world is like and wants to get out of his small community.

    Primary character: Rat aka Jun-Jun
    Character traits: Rat is a devious little boy who lives in the Behala dumpsite trying to make his living while staying out of the way. He isn't originally from here, he is from another island and is saving up for a boat so that he can go back to that island.
    Motivation: Rat wants to help his friends while earning money so he can go home.
    How he affects the story: One day his friend Raphael finds a mysterious bag that turns their world upside down. Rat wants to help his friends when the police come to arrest them. Now the three friends are running from the police and are finally figuring out what the mysterious bag had to do with stealing six million dollars.
    Revealing quote:" what do you need me to keep for you?..... It will cost you something for me to keep something that the police are looking for."

    Motivations:He wants to be accepted so he is acting out and doing things he's not supposed to.
    Character Traits:He is shy around his parents but,outgoing and hyper at his foster home. He stands up for other kids if they are being picked on.
    How he affects the story:Somebody else started a room in the school on fire but, everyone thinks he did it. His foster parent said it was the bottom line because before he was shoplifting. Now they are taking him to the Hillcrest Juvenile Hall.

  17. Book title: Brilliant
    Character name: Quinn
    Quinn Avery starts out as a calm, problem solving, smart girl. She's always the one to calm her sisters down as they freak out. Eventually, she can't take it anymore. After telling Adriana, a girl she works with about this crush on an older guy, Adriana tells her she'll set her up with a guy way better. Quinn goes to a party and starts to become someone she's not. After awhile she turns back into herself. This book is the third book in a series of 3. The two other books are about Quinn's younger sisters. Brilliant is all about Quinn. She affects the characters by showing her mom and dad that she's not perfect at all. She also teaches her sisters that she has flaws and makes big mistakes, but no matter what she will always be there for them.
